All of the adults who completed the recent Personal Care Aide/Home Health Aide/Nurse Assistant program at BOCES have successfully passed their certification exams. This signifies a 100% success rate for the students who took part in the program. The program, which ended in late August, trained students to become certified Personal Care Aides, Home Health Aides, and Nurse Assistants in the state of New York.
The successful students who passed their certifications are Duavon Allen, Milagos Fuentes, Christopher James, Beth Longale, Jadea McDermott, Maryuri Padilla, Christopher Robinson, Trinity Santoro, and Sarah Williams. These individuals have now gained the necessary skills and knowledge to provide vital care and assistance to those in need.
Personal Care Aides play a crucial role in supporting individuals with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Home Health Aides provide additional care within the comfort of a patient’s own home, including medication reminders and light housekeeping. Nurse Assistants, also known as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), work alongside registered nurses and provide direct patient care in various healthcare settings.
The high success rate of the BOCES students is a testament to the quality of the program and the dedication of both the students and instructors. By successfully passing their certification exams, these individuals have opened up new opportunities for themselves in the healthcare industry.
BOCES is a well-established educational institution that provides a wide range of career and technical education programs. Their Personal Care Aide/Home Health Aide/Nurse Assistant program is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their chosen field.
