The Genesee Health Plan is organizing its 10th annual ‘Drive-thru Vaccine’ event in Flint, Michigan. Taking place on September 22 from 3-6 p.m., the event aims to make vaccination against the flu, Tdap, and hepatitis B easily accessible to community members.
Unfortunately, the event will not be offering the new COVID-19 booster shot. However, individuals interested in receiving any of the other available vaccines can simply drive up to the Genesee Health Plan office on Linden Road. Attendees will be able to roll down their car window and roll up their sleeve to receive the vaccination.
In addition to providing vaccines, the event will also feature various giveaways and activities. Attendees will have the chance to participate in gas card drawings, receive back-to-school supplies, and even snag free clothing for all ages. Moreover, free ice cream will be available to all who attend.
For more details about the event, individuals can contact the Genesee Health Plan directly at 810-232-7740 or visit their website at geneseehealthplan.org.
