Drive-Through Flu Shot Clinics to Take Place in Great Falls, Montana

The Cascade City-County Health Department (CCHD) in Great Falls, Montana, will be hosting two drive-through flu shot clinics at Montana ExpoPark in the coming days. These events will take place on Wednesday, September 20, and Wednesday, September 27, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. It is important to note that only adults will be eligible for immunization at these drive-thru clinics.

In addition to flu shots, COVID-19 immunizations will also be offered at the drive-through event on September 20, while supplies last. However, individuals must bring their COVID immunization card, unless it is their first dose. The CCHD will have Pfizer doses available for those with insurance, and a limited number of Moderna doses will be offered to individuals without insurance or whose insurance does not cover a COVID shot.

For individuals of all ages, the CCHD will also be providing flu immunization clinics, which have walk-in availability on various dates. These clinics will be held at different locations throughout Great Falls, including the Great Falls Fire Rescue (GFFR) Training Center, GFFR Station 2, Great Falls Public Library, GFFR Training Center, and GFFR Station 4. It is important to bring your insurance card to these clinics, as all major insurance providers are accepted. For those without insurance, the cost of a standard dose flu shot is $40, while a higher dose is priced at $80. However, if you are unable to pay, you may qualify for free or reduced-cost immunization.

Pregnant women who wish to receive immunization must bring a letter from their physician recommending the flu shot. For more information, please contact the Cascade City-County Health Department at 406-791-2063 or email [email protected].
