D CEO has revealed the finalists for its 2023 Excellence in Healthcare Awards, which recognize individuals and organizations for their contributions to the healthcare industry in North Texas. The awards aim to celebrate leaders and innovators who have made a significant impact on the local economy.
In the Outstanding Healthcare Innovator category, three individuals have been singled out for their outstanding achievements. Dr. Karl Csaky of the Retina Foundation of the Southwest has been recognized for his groundbreaking advancements in research and treatments for age-related macular degeneration. Dr. Vishal Ahuja of SMU focuses his research on developing decision analytic tools that can be easily implemented by healthcare professionals. Camille Bradley of Baylor Scott & White Health is also among the finalists. Bradley and her team recently published a paper on their experience of implementing an internal e-consult program for communication between specialists and primary care providers.
The Achievement in Innovation category highlights the accomplishments of five organizations, including Baylor Scott & White Health, the Parkland Center for Clinical Innovation, REVELOHEALTH, Salience TMS Neuro Solutions, and Texas Health Physicians Group. These organizations have made significant contributions to healthcare innovation and have positively impacted the industry.
The winners of the D CEO Excellence in Healthcare Awards will be announced in December.
