The Microvette 200 is ideal for collection of 200 micro-litres of blood using the ‘end to end’ principle. Blood is collected through a pre-assembled plastic capillary tube and flows either into a specially designed conical or rounded inner tube (depending on their preparation).

Microvette 200 offers all the advantages of a modern capillary blood collection system:

MICROVETTE 300 and 500 are ideal for collection of capillary blood using gravity flow principle. Because the entire rim of the tube may be used for collection, assembly and disassembly of a separate collector is eliminated. It results in simple peripheral blood collection thanks to the newly developed collection vessel. Here the unique inner tube design of the microvette ensures optimal serum and plasma recovery and optimise mixing of whole blood, even with a sample volume.

Compatible with all common centrifuges, the cylindrical outer tube is ideal for bar coding or patient labelling. Choice of different inner tube designs with 300ul and 500ul volume capacity and corresponding graduation and special twist cap design is easy to open and minimises aerosol effect.

Genius S is an automated cell counter that produces RBC, WBC, Hgb, MCV, MCH, MCHC, RDW, Plt, MPV, PCT, PDW percentage and absolute leucocyte values with 40 microlitres of whole blood, and has an analytical capacity up to 65 samples per hour.

The cell counter is a software based on complete system for data elaboration. Although it is a sophisticated system, it is also flexible and easy to use at the same time. It has a wide menu that gives the operator prompt access to data management and file reports. Its quality control provides Levey and Jennings Cures along with Bull’s algorithm. In case of pathological results including eosinophilies, monocytosis etc a set of flags relative to all parameters are given.

Moreover for the sample of normal WBC differentiation the instrument automatically detects 5 part WBC subpopulations and a 3 WBC part-diff discrimination for the pathological cases.
