BM Birla Receives Jamnalal Bajaj Award

Kolkata-based BM Birla Heart Research Centre, India's first and eastern India's only NABH-accredited hospital, was recently awarded the 'Jamnalal Bajaj Award for Fair Business Practices' this year. The award was instituted to recognise and applaud the efforts of organisation with exemplary record of practicing and promoting fair business practices.

Each year, the awards are conferred on deserving enterprise with an outstanding record of promoting fair business. The award was handed over by Former Central Minister and MP Suresh Prabhu.

While receiving the awards, Suyash Borar, COO, BM Birla, said, "We are honoured to receive this award, especially in the category of fair business practices, as you might know that healthcare industry is not exactly known for good business practices. I feel really proud that BM Birla has set a trend in this regards."
