For the first time in Surat, Care Hospital will provide advanced cardiac thoracic surgery operation theaters.

LV Rajendra Kumar, Chief of Business Development, Care Group of Hospitals, said, ``Launch of Care Hospital in Surat is part of our vision to provide quality healthcare in every region of the country. The Hospital with its vast experience in cardiac care will bring international quality treatment at affordable cost to people of South Gujarat who usually travel to Mumbai for heart check-ups.'' To pursue the group's mission and achieve its objectives, the Hospital consists of 43 intensive care beds, four emergency care management beds, five-bed dialysis unit, round-the-clock radiology, pathology and emergency services supported by information and bio-medical departments.

As a part of its expansion plans, Care Hospitals will extend its footprint across the country by setting up new state-of-art hospitals in newer territories. The Group's vision for the next decade is 10,000 beds.
