Wockhardt Hospitals Launches The NEST

It is equipped with 13 LDRP suites which comes with luxurious interiors and latest equipment and techniques for delivery

Wockhardt Hospitals Group recently announced the launch of 'The NEST', an exclusive service dedicated to maternity care at the Bannerghatta Road Hospital. The NEST, a first ever initiative by Wockhardt Hospitals Women Care, will offer unmatched care for the whole nine months of pregnancy backed by the quality and safety standards of the Wockhardt Hospital Group.

Said Vishal Bali, CEO and MD, Wockhardt Hospitals Group, "The ethos of The NEST is based on offering a comprehensive delivery service fulfilling the two big concerns during pregnancy and delivery: safety and comfort. It's a blend of new generation services with a traditional feel, a great boon to woman of today who juggles between her demands and the family needs, where she can hardly rely on the traditional support system."

The NEST enjoys the backing of five core super specialties of Wockhardt Hospitals as it comes equipped with the expertise of eminent gynaecologists, obstetricians and backed by American board certified neonatologists and critical care specialists and specialists from other disciplines, and a team of highly qualified nurses and paramedics.

As a premium offering, The NEST is equipped with 13 (Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum) LDRP suites which comes with luxurious interiors and latest equipment and techniques for delivery. Each suite has a theme, based on four seasons of the year, one can choose a room to suit the time of the delivery. A special Tender Loving Care (TLC) privilege package takes care of an expecting mother's requirement right from their second trimester at The NEST. Other than LDRP suites, The NEST offers a wide range of rooms. All these rooms have been designed keeping in mind the ease of use and comfort.

A focus on assuring the safety of the new born is evident in the technology and clinical expertise that Wockhardt Hospitals has created in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The NICU is equipped with neonatal ventilators, incubators and other equipment required for treating very premature babies and backed by specially trained nursing staff.
