India's first Medical Spa Launched

Rs 400 crore to be invested over the next three years in setting up a chain of spas

The Mayar Group, a Rs-3000 crore diversified conglomerate with interests in publication papers, forest products, agriculture produce, hospitality, SEZs and manufacturing and marketing of Ayurvedic beauty products, recently launched India's first authentic Medical Spa: a+ MediSpa.

Spread over 18,000 square feet and located at Vasant Vihar, New Delhi, a+ MediSpa offers the best-in-class medical technology and modern medicine in combination with ancient Ayurveda healing systems to deliver unparalleled aesthetic treatments and results. All of this is available in an unhurried and peaceful spa environment by or under close supervision of some of the finest aesthetic doctors.

The centre has been set up with an investment of Rs 30 crore, and the company plans to open 14 more such facilities in India over the next three years. Explaining the concept of a+ MediSpa, Abhit Sud, Managing Director, Mayar Group, said, "It is a centre where Aurvedic massage therapy, aesthetic medical skin care, aesthetic surgery, cosmetic dentistry, purification and holistic treatments are blended together seamlessly. Our physician-directed team of licensed professionals combine years of expertise and training to help you look and feel your best. The FDA approved, top-of-the-line technology used at the centre ensures the safest and most effective treatments."

Naveen Gaur, CEO, Mayar Group, added, "Our difference lies in the fact that we do not treat only the skin and body by non-surgical and surgical means, but address the person as a whole in a tranquil, healing and pampering spa environment. Since we believe that aesthetics, health and wellness are inseparable elements, we combine our skin and aesthetic surgery treatments with Ayurvedic healing, spa therapies and purification techniques. These are in turn, complemented by holistic measures such as reflexology, nutritional therapy and antioxidant testing. With some of India's best doctors partnering a+ MediSpa, we are confident about providing the best of treatments to all our customers."
