Kailash Hospital & Research Centre (KHRC), Noida was established
in 1984 with just 80 beds. Today, this 300-bed super-speciality multi-services
Hospital is the largest private hospital in Uttar Pradesh, catering to patients
from all over UP, Delhi and other NCR towns. The other hospitals owned by the
Group are greenfield projects in the Delhi-NCR areaKailash Heart Institute,
Noida and Kailash Hospitals, Greater Noida. The Group also manages and operates
Deepak Memorial Hospital & Medical Research Centre in East Delhi. Together,
the Group commands around 1,000 beds. The Group also runs a nursing and paramedical
institute that trains nursing students, lab technicians, X-ray technicians and
other paramedical staff.
Affordable Healthcare
Says Chairman and Managing Director Dr Mahesh Sharma, "The USP of our Hospital
is healthcare of international standards at affordable cost." The Kailash
Group has the interests of Delhi, UP and NCR at heart.
Specialist Care
KHRC has achieved an average annual growth of 18 per cent. The Hospital has
60 specialist OPDs serving an average 900 patients daily. The Hospital has around
1,200 employees on its rolls, and 160 senior consultants on its panel.
This Hospital provides a host of 24-hour facilities such as ambulance services,
mobile CCU, casualty and emergency services, lab and diagnostic services, chemist
shop and blood bank to ensure smooth and efficient patient care.
It provides services in the fields of internal medicine, general surgery, ENT,
gynaecology, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, dental care, physiotherapy and gastroenterology.
The Hospital's focus areas are cardiology (including all kinds of cardio thoracic
and vascular surgeries), trauma and critical care, neurology and neuro surgery,
paediatric and paediatric surgery, laparoscopic surgery, and drug and alcohol
de-addiction.
The Hospital pioneered laparoscopic cholecystectomy way back in 1994. KHRC has
a well-equipped 60-bed critical care unit with ventilators, defibrillator, pulse
oximeter, monitor and eight major operation theatres.
Caring for UP
"Over the past several decades, while the incidence of heart disease and
heart attack has been rapidly increasing all over the country, the people of
UP have long been deprived of a comprehensive heart care centre in the private
sector. We decided to shoulder this responsibility and established the Kailash
Heart Institute (KHI) in 2001, with a mission to provide comprehensive, affordable
heart care on par with international standards," says Dr Sharma.
The 100-bed state-of-the-art KHI is equipped with ultramodern facilities for
complete cardiac investigations: ECG, TMT, echo, holter, PFT, stress echo, doubtamine
stress echo, trans esophageal echocardiography (TEE), EP studies, RF ablation
and BMV. It has 20 beds in cardiac ICU and 20 beds in surgical ICU with the
latest ventilators, defibrillators and a central monitoring system.
"KHI has a highly professional and experienced team of doctors who can
manage all types of patients with acute heart attack including primary angioplasty
and stenting. The door-to-balloon time, on an average, is 30 minutes and the
success rate is 95 to 98 per cent. Over the past five years, KHI has become
a well-recognised referral centre for management of heart attack patients,"
reveals Dr Sharma.
Greater Good
Kailash Hospital, Greater Noida is a 250-bed multi-speciality hospital planned
to provide healthcare services to the people of Greater Noida, which is fast
emerging as a modern township.
Presently, there are 60 specialist consultants and the Hospital has been providing
services in the fields of internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, general
surgery, ENT, gynaecology, paediatrics, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, dental
care, physiotherapy and gastroenterology.

can download their lab reports from our website. Besides, all our systems and
processes are IT driven," says Dr Sharma.
Social Awareness Camps
The Group has been conducting camps at various locations on different topics.
These camps attempt to impart awareness about various health-related issues.
"Also, our Hospitals have been providing free outpatient treatment to patients
from weaker sections of the society. Similarly, many poor patients are given
subsidised treatment on admission to our Hospitals. Emergency services are free
for the poor," assures Dr Sharma.
