Wockhardt Hospitals, Hyderabad joins the 'Save Young Hearts'
Both
centres of Wockhardt Hospitals, Hyderabad Wockhardt Heart Centre (LB Nagar)
and Kamineni Wockhardt Hospitals (King Koti) have joined in the Child Cardiac
Surgery Programme initiated by the Andhra Pradesh (AP) Government.
Under this scheme, for the first time in the country, the Government of AP is
funding surgeries for poor children below the age of 12 years suffering from
congenital high-end diseases like cardiac ailments etc. Now, all the beneficiaries
can avail these services at both the Kamineni Wockhardt Hospitals and the Wockhardt
Heart Centre. Said Sudhaker Jadhav, Head-Marketing, Wockhardt Hospitals, Hyderabad,
"Wockhardt Hospitals was always looking for an opportunity to provide quality
healthcare to the needy. This Programme presents us with just that, and we will
do all that we can to collaborate with the Government in saving young hearts."
Under this scheme, private hospitals support the Government by performing high-end
surgeries at very low costs. Jadhav further added, "Public Private Partnerships
(PPP) are essential to improve the quality of healthcare existing in the country.
The Government of AP has taken the first step towards a healthier life for all."
