Your Magazine Promotes Professional
Healthcare Administration
Express
Healthcare Management, being the pioneer healthcare publication, deserves
special commendation for its work. Being a student of hospital administration,
I highly appreciate the role of your publication in the Indian healthcare
industry. Here, I would like to share my views on your July 2006 issue.
The article 'Healthcast 2020: Creating A Sustainable Future' by Rajashri
Sengupta furnishes a detailed insight into the globalisation of healthcare
and its implications. The article 'Protecting Your Data Within The Healthcare
Sector' by Sascha Beyer underlines the significance and scope of IT. 'Healthcare
Industry Witnessing Major Transition Ever' by Sachin Chaudhary presents
the changing face of healthcare delivery systems in India. 'Analysis Of
Nature Of Complaints In Medical Equipment' by Deepak Agarkhed highlights
the difficulties in equipment management. 'Testing Times For Apollo Hospital'
by Nayantara Som is a reminder to all hospital administrators the need
for tackling unprecedented contingencies. 'A Leader Extraordinaire' about
Vishal Bali by Rita Dutta is highly motivating for all young aspiring
hospital administrators.
Overall, I appreciate your efforts in promoting
professional healthcare administration in India.

An Exhaustive Picture Of Healthcare In Bangalore
This is regarding the September 2006 issue of your magazine.
The article 'The Visionary Doctor' by Sapna Dogra focusing on Dr Alok Roy is
truly inspiring to postgraduate students and young healthcare administrators.
The article 'Bangalore's Newest USP: Healthcare' by Rita Dutta
in the section Bangalore Discovered gives an exhaustive picture of healthcare
in Bangalore which is already well known IT capital and pluralistic city due
to its cosmopolitan nature.
The section truly portrays the city in becoming the healthcare
hub with a unique combination of several healthcare industries and IT-industries
making it a global destination. I sincerely appreciate your efforts in promoting
professional healthcare administration in India and driving modern initiatives.
Looking forward to many more and wishing you the very best in all your future

Shukla's Article Gives Me Courage To Do Well In Healthcare
Vertical
This is regarding the article 'The Ironies of Healthcare Industry'
by Vivek Shukla. After 12 years of sales and marketing experience in companies
like APTECH, VEBTEL all into the IT- related areas, recently I have joined as
manager marketing for a upcoming chain of Hospitals in Hyderabad, and happened
to read the article. The article reinforces my decision to have taken up this
role. It also gives me courage to do well in this healthcare vertical which
is new to me.

Informative Article On Vendor Down Time
This is regarding the article 'Analysis Of Nature Of Complaints
In Medical Equipment' by Deeepak Agarkhed in the July issue of your magazine.
The vendor down time in spare processing is obviously the major hold up to get
the equipment up and running again is because they do not have a large spare
inventory and products have to be shipped in. Obviously, this is something that
hurts efficient running and revenue generation in a huge way. I am glad that
the author is so cognizant of these issues and hopefully will have systems in
place to try to minimise these issues.
