HOSMAN 2006 - The First Annual Conference Of FHA

For the first time, Federation Of Hospital Administrators (FHA) is organising
an annual conference called the 'HOSMAN 2006'. This conference is organised
to bring together all the hospital administrators and hospital management students
for exchange of ideas, knowledge and views on the management of healthcare to
enhance professionalism in hospital administration. The conference would cover
the current and emerging trends in the healthcare management industry. HOSMAN
2006 will feature seminars and workshops on hospital management-related topics.
The resource persons for the seminars include eminent speakers from various
parts of the country.

Conference On Planning And Designing Of Healthcare
Facilities

The International Conference on Planning and Designing of
Healthcare Facilities is being jointly organised by the AIIMS, New Delhi as
part of its Golden Jubilee Celebrations in collaboration with the School of
Planning and Architecture, New Delhi; the Indian Institute of Architects, Mumbai;
International Conference on Medical Architecture (ICMA) and the South Asian
Conference on Synergy in Healthcare (SASHCON).
The main objectives of the conference will be to:
a) Establish dynamic networks between the diverse disciplines
of medicine, architecture, financing & management and integrate them for
evolving patient-friendly and environment-friendly trends in hospital planning
and designing.
b) Deliberate the emerging trends in planning and designing of healthcare facilities.
c) Highlight the changing role of hospitals in the future in view of the changing
healthcare environment and challenges.
d ) Assess the future projections for healthcare sector and its financing.
e) Explore the avenues for integration of information technology in healthcare
delivery including as a virtual outreach arm of super-specialty care.
About 350 select experts are expected to participate in this conference, which
includes health and hospital administrators, hospital planners, project consultants,
architects and experts from the construction industry. The last date for registration
is July 31, 2006.

MEDITEC 2007
Venue: Hyderabad
Date: February 2007
After the acknowledged success of MEDITEC2006, which had nearly 110 stalls,
Orbit Trade Fairs is holding its second Annual Trade Fair in medical and healthcare
technology-MEDITEC2007. MEDITEC, the gateway to medical technology in South
Asia, including India, will be held for three days from February 10-12, 2007.
It is planned to be at least three times bigger.
