First Indian Doctor To Win The Robert Olding Award 2006

Dr Akshay Batra, Deputy MD, Dr Batra's Positive Health Clinic, is this year's recipient of the Robert Olding Award given by The Trichological Society, London, for outstanding achievement and personal endeavour in the field of trichology.

"I have seen the positive effects of Homeopathy, so I went for this career," says Dr Batra. He is the first non-UK-based trichologist to receive this award. Dr Batra has successfully completed six years in this field. He says with pride, "I am the fourth generation doctor and a third generation homeopath." Dr Batra was also awarded his Licentiate in trichology - the highest educational qualification offered by The Trichological Society.

"It feels good always to achieve something at an early age than others," says Dr Batra. Also, he has recently been appointed Hon Advisor to the Trichological Society for India. "It feels great to receive this award, both as an individual and as an Indian. I am glad I chose Homeopathy," he says.
