New Cath Lab Services Director For Manipal

Dr Prathap Kumar, Consultant - Interventional Cardiologist, has been appointed as the Director of cath lab services at Manipal Heart Foundation, Bangalore. He will help drive the expansion plans of the Foundation across the country using various healthcare delivery models.

He will also work along with scientists conducting stem cell research at the hospital to help find newer methods of treating heart diseases. Dr Kumar is known for performing some of the most challenging procedures using radial artery instead of the conventional femoral artery.
