Fortis Bags The Best IT Infrastructure Award

EHM News Bureau

Fortis healthcare has bagged the NASSCOM award for 'The Company with Best IT Infrastructure in Healthcare sector' recently. ‘Best IT Infrastructure Award’, an industry first, recognises organisations which display ability to effectively use IT. Fortis has equipped itself with state-of-the-art IT infrastructure and applications that have given it a major edge over other non-technology focussed healthcare facilities. Sunil Kapoor, CIO, Fortis, was present on the occasion.

The results were based on IT user survey, which seeks to assess IT usage among key industry verticals and recognise leaders, thereby creating a benchmark within verticals and the domestic user industry. This is a key benchmarking effort for the industry today; especially when domestic IT is placed at the base of a steep adoption curve. IT User Awards assess IT usage among key business verticals in India. The survey, which has been conducted in association with IMRB, surveyed verticals like manufacturing, travel and hospitality, ICT, BFSI, NGO, healthcare, IT innovation, education etc. The parameters on which the business were assessed include IT policy, IT infrastructure, IT services set-up etc.
