FHA Expands Under Its New Leader

Administrative Director of Madurai-based Meenakshi Mission Hospital, Dr Ramesh Babu, who has taken over the reins of General Secretary of the Federation of Hospital Administrators (FHA) is carving expansion plans for FHA. "After opening branches in Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Maharashtra and Karnataka, we want to open branches all over India," he says. His agenda for FHA includes creating a platform for sharing of knowledge of medical and non-medical hospital administrators and to secure recogniton for practices and concepts related to hospital administration. Additionally, he wants to come out with a monthly periodical, which would become the voice of hospital administrators.
