DMA Honour For Max Healthcare Doctors
Two senior doctors of Max Healthcare, Dr Narottam Puri, Executive
Director Medical Services, Max Healthcare and Dr Ashok Seth, Chairman and Chief
Cardiologist, Max Devki Devi Heart & Vascular Institute, were honoured by
the Delhi Medical Association (DMA) at a special function organised by them
in the capital.
Receiving the Dr B L Taneja Memorial Guest Lecture Award,
Dr Narottam Puri, who is not only a well-known doctor but also an eminent sports
commentator and author said, "This award is special to me as this is given
in the fond memory of Dr Taneja, who like me is an alumnus of Malulana Azad
Medical College." He received this award for his oration on surgical site
infections, for which DMA had received a total of 70 entries.
Dr Seth, who received the DMA Legend in Interventional Cardiology Award, said,
"It is an honour to be recognised by your own peers. I feel that science
is never ending and there is still a lot that has to be achieved. Today, I'm
proud to say that India is on par in providing tertiary care cardiovascular
facility anywhere in the world".
