Ironing Out Wrinkles & Acne

Cosmetic Dermatologist and the Medical Director of Sense Skin & Laser Clinic, Dr Abhijit Desai has recently introduced a new laser treatment for anti-ageing and anti-acne (pimple) treatments for the first time in India. Called “Aramis Erbium Glass Laser”, the 1,540 nm technology is imported from France. The laser works on the effects of ageing and acne by inducing collagen tightening and neo-collagen synthesis. According to Dr Desai, “The Aramis reduces scars, softens fine lines and wrinkles, improves skin elasticity, texture and tone and involves no pain, no side-effects, no anaesthetic and no downtime. Dr Desai made it sure that it has no pigment absorption, it can be safely used on any skin type or colour and is the only laser that can be used on tanned skin. “It is highly-effective on facial line, acne, crow’s feet, neck lines, chicken pox scars, stretch marks, atrophic scars, peri oral lines, forehead wrinkles and naso labial lines,” Dr Desai adds. “Aramis has no risk of burning, thanks to a very effective cooling system,” informs Dr Desai.
