The Ultimate Recognition

Head of the Ob-Gynaec Dept of Rajawadi Hospital, Mumbai, Dr Prakash Trivedi has recently bagged the prestigious FOGSI Scientific Corion Award in the senior category for the best research work for his innovative design and technique used for female urinary leak.

The technique, called Trivedi's Stress Urinary Incontinence Tape (T-SUIT), was studied by a panel of 12 judges and Dr Trivedi was selected among 20,000 gynaecologists. From 2003, Dr Trivedi has treated more than 100 patients with this technique.

Of 16 million women in India who suffer from stress urinary incontinence, around 30 per cent of them with cough, sneezing can benefit from T-SUIT.

The device can be used for multiple times and the recurring cost that one needs to bear is Rs 1200 for the tape only.
