Instromedix To Launch New Products In Home Care Segment

Instromedix (India) Pvt Ltd, a leading healthcare company, plans to launch a new healthcare product-Oxygen Concentrator, in the home care segment. To be introduced by the end of March this year, this new product has a huge global market.

Life Support Systems & Services Pvt Ltd, which provides marketing support to Instromedix locally, is actively marketing home care products for sleep/respiratory disorders like Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP's), Bi-Level Positive Airway Pressure (BiPAP's,) and Sleep Labs. Life Support Systems & Services Pvt. Ltd also provides total solution in respect of medical supplies like ECG cables, Pulse Oximeter Sensors, Patient Circuits, Transducers etc.

According to R P Singh, Managing Director, Instromedix (India) Pvt Ltd, "Our core competence lies in healthcare segments like critical care, emergency and cardiology. To broaden our reach in the healthcare industry, we are currently focussing on home care products, physicians and nursing homes through our marketing companies."

"We are happy to learn that European and American healthcare companies are interested in collaborating with us,” he added. Besides this, the company has also launched medical grade compressor for ventilator, an indigenously manufactured product two years back and is exporting this product to countries like Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Russia, China and the US.

With history of long-term and exclusive association with reputed foreign suppliers like Viasys /Bird - USA, Medtronic Physio Control - USA, Mindray - Sino-US, Delmar Reynolds - UK, Weinmann - Germany etc, Instromedix provides cost effective medical devices and supplies to its valued customers.

"The company's strategy is manufacturing and supplying products locally and globally through JV with foreign and local companies has paid good dividends," Singh informed.

The company’s strength lies in designing and developing products locally with JVs with foreign and local companies. In an attempt to enhance participation in the growing healthcare industry, Instromedix has formed group companies to address various additional healthcare segments with most appropriate solutions. Besides Life Support Systems & Services Pvt Ltd, Krishna Medi Equipment Pvt Ltd and Taurus Healthcare Pvt Ltd are another group companies with Instromedix. Krishna Medi Equipment Pvt Ltd provides cost effective and high quality medical devices like ECG machines, Basic Monitors, Fetal Monitors, Spirometers, Basic Ultrasounds etc and Taurus Healthcare Pvt Ltd is making extensive efforts towards design and development of local solutions in the field of cardiology, critical care and emergency.

The product range marketed by Instromedix includes state-of-the-art ventilators, patient monitoring systems, defibrillators/pace makers, anaesthesia machines, TMT/Holters etc. The company also specialises in design and development of critical care ambulances and has established itself as significant player in the field of pre-hospital emergency care. Instromedix also has track record of looking after its customers efficiently with trained engineers placed at more than 30 strategic locations in the country.

The company has set a target of Rs 100 crore annual turnover in the next three to four years. Currently, the company has a turnover of Rs 40 to Rs 50 crore. The company was founded in 1985 with commitment to provide latest and cutting edge technologies to the healthcare providers in the country.
