Asian Cardiac Nursing Conference 2005

The members of the Asian Association of Cardiac Nurses (AACN) are organising
the 6th Asian Cardiac Nursing Conference in the city. The theme of this conference
is Creating New Rhythms: A Challenge for the Cardiac Nurse. In keeping
with the theme, this conference will address various aspects of recent advances
and research in the field.
Scientific sessions and clinical presentations will be conducted by experts
from India and abroad on topics like n Newer technologies and modalities n Legal
and ethical issues n Effective management of cardiac units n Preventive and
rehabilitative aspects n Research in cardiac nursing n Approaches to paediatric
clients and n Cardiac nursing beyond the hospital. Clinical Presentations, along
with demonstrations will be conducted on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, ECG
Interpretation, Pacemaker Therapy and Hemodynamic Monitoring.
The AACN was started in the year 1995, pioneered by B M Birla Heart Research
Center, Kolkata, which also functions as the headquarters. Today, there are
over 450 members registered with the Association.

South Asian Conference on Synergy in HealthCare Programme
