Hiranandani Hospital, Thane completes one year

EHM News Bureau - Mumbai

Hiranadani Hospital, Thane has completed one year since its inception. The hospital set up in July 2004, commenced operations almost simultaneously with the Group’s flagship hospital, the Dr L H Hiranandani Hospital, Powai. Built on 6,000 sq ft and located at Hamilton building in the ground floor, the hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art OPD complex, having eight consulting chambers. Specialised OPDs catering to multiple specialities like cardiology, ENT, ophthalmology, dental surgery and gynaecology are also available at the hospital .

The hospital also has a well-equipped diagnostic centre, which provides a variety of services like imaging, X-ray, ultrasound, laboratory facilities and stress test.

Informs Dr Sundar Krishnan, administration in charge and consulting physician, “The Hiranandani Hospital at Thane has an operation theatre with state of the art equipment that is capable of performing all kinds of surgeries.

The operation theatre is backed up by four recovery beds, which are akin to high dependency unit type of beds with facility for doctors round the clock.”

According to Surendra Hiranandani, managing trustee, Hiranandani Hospital, “This hospital at Thane works in tandem with the Dr LH Hiranandani Hospital at Powai. Cases requiring very high end treatment such as by-pass surgeries or advanced orthopaedic procedures are referred to the hospital at Powai and treated by the same team of doctors, who had erstwhile seen the patient in Thane, thus creating a seamless environment for the patient, who has the best of both the worlds (technology and doctor) in medical therapy.”
