The channel partners for Hansaton Acoustic GmbH, Germany has launched their new series of fully digital hearing aid instruments in India. The new instruments will cater to the 10 per cent of hearing impaired people in India.

Dr Prem Victor, channel partner, Hansaton said, “With the introduction of the digital technology in the hearing aid systems, the products have become cost-effective. We will be coming out with six new models by October this year.”

Some of the advantages of these instruments is that the battery consumption is less, can process, function and detect speech effectively. There are 25 different models of hearing aid systems currently.

“We have set up quality care centres nationwide with eight centres currently operational in Mumbai, Delhi, Goa, Bangalore, Chennai, Mysore, Kolkata and Jammu to provide services and facilities to our customers,” added Dr Victor.
