Phillipines hosts Asias largest conference

Hospital management Asia (HMA)is Asias largest
learning conference and EXPO for hospital managers, was recently held at Philippines.
Over 300 delegates from 110 hospitals in 22 countries came together for it.
It is an annual convention that directs itself to the continuing professional
development of the hospital manager in an environment of quality learning.
HMA is organised by the Options Info company in co-operation
with The International Hospital Federation, Johns Hopkins International, The
Private hospital Association of Thailand, Hospital Directore club of Vietnam
and Philippine Hospital Association. The HMA programmes includes a combination
of plenary sessions featuring widely recognised business and hospital management
leaders from around the world;workshops and demonstrations on topic-specific
innovations and up to date best management practices in hospitals and facilitated
sessions to match participants with shared interests.
UK-based clinical auditor Sheenu Jhawar spoke on Modern
tools for quality assessment-clinical audit and care pathways.- This session
looked at the practical approach to clinical audit-the gold standard for clinical
assessment by managers, and the session also briefly examined the latest quality
assessment tool-integrated care pathways and linked it in with clinical audit.
