Kritical
to set up healthcare infrastructure funds

In an endeavour to enable skilled healthcare entrepreneurs
set up new hospital facilities, the Bangalore-based
Kritical Health Systems plans to fund healthcare projects.
Plans
are on the anvil to set up a Project Facilitation fund
up to the tune of Rs 50 lakh and a Rs 10-billion Infrastructure
Investment fund, A Srivathsan, Chief Executive,
Kritical Health Systems and Services Pvt Ltd told Express
Healthcare Management.
The project facilitation fund will have a corpus of
Rs 50 lakh and is aimed to help entreprenuers seeking
investments up to Rs two lakh. Under this scheme, Kritical
would do the ground work for the new projects.
Under the infrastructure investment fund, Kritical will
fund projects up to Rs 50 lakh and is also offering
consultancy in the initial stages of hospital build
up.
Kritical Health is a wealth management company which
provides management and technology services and solutions
to various entities in the healthcare industry including
the healthcare consumer. With its proven capabilities
in business strategy consulting, technology solutions,
healthcare software development, outsourced operations
and marketing, Kritical plans to conduct workshops for
the healthcare professionals in all these aspects in
different places across the country. The first such
workshop slated this month will be conducted for the
marketing personnel. The company has a track record
of having commissioned more than nine hospital projects
including the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical
Sciences and a 1000-bed teaching hospital Vydehi Institute
of Medical Sciences in Bangalore. Kritical has the credit
of implementing the first automated Doctor Appointment
Solution implemented in Mallya Hospital in 1991, first
CRM solution for hospitals under implementation in Heart
Centre, first outsourced relationship for marketing
under implementation at Koshys Hospital, etc.
With
health insurance coming in there needs to be more transparency
in hospitals and they need to maximise utilisation of
their resources. They will look for more management
and technology solutions to deliver quality care. We
are confident of providing services at 40 per cent of
the total cost by offering our expertise in turnkey
solutions, facility management, work with architect
and optimize the services asserts Srivathsan.
Kritical Health is looking at earning Rs 15 crore revenues
by the end of 2005.
