Ceejay introduces NRT product

EHM News Bureau - Mumbai

Mumbai-based Ceejay Health Care Private Limited has introduced India’s first Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) product, NuLife Chewttes, the country’s first safe and government approved answer to the carcinogenic habit of gutka consumption and cigarette smoking. Ceejay Healthcare is also the first company outside US to launch NRT product.

According to official spokesperson of Ceejay, “NRT products have been available in the west for more than a decade, and are recommended by the WHO as the most safe and effective aid available to tobacco addicts seeking to quit their dangerous smoking and chewing habits. NRT reduces and in most cases eliminates the withdrawal symptoms experienced by tobacco users by delivering a safe, pure and regulated dose og nicotine polacrilex. With the reduction or elimination of withdrawal symptoms, most tobacco users find quitting their tobacco habits much easier.”

According to Ceejay Healthcare’s chairman Praful Patel, “Indians have often toyed with the idea of kicking the habits of gutka, cigarretes and tobacco chewing, NRT is a globally approved method of ending tobacco dependence.

NuLife is the first step towards eliminating tobacco reduction.” NuLife Chewttes in Good Kha and Eucomint flavours are approved for nationwide sales by the Drug Controller General of India, ministry of health, govt of India and all concerned approving bodies, as an OTCs product.
