Kochi to host Indian Dental Conference

EHM News Bureau -

Close on the heels of CSI, Kochi is all set to host yet another mega event - the 57th Indian Dental Conference (IDC). The event, which is hosted by Indian Dental Association (IDA), Kochi branch, will be held at Hotel Le Meridien International Convention Centre, Kochi, from 23rd to 26th January 2003.

"It is first time in 30 years in the Kochi dental history that a National Dental Conference is being held in Kochi. IDC would be attended by a large number of delegates from all over the world. We are expecting about 4000 delegates, mainly including dental surgeons and traders, for the event. As part of the conference there will be a trade fair, which will have about 220 stalls. The trade fair will be open for four days and in fact we have overwhelming response from the traders to operate their business here during the conference,"says Dr Ram Mohan, IDA, Kochi. The event will also have pre conference course, scientific sessions and orations. The scientific committee is elaborately planning to invite well-known speakers from abroad too.

"The pre conference will discuss recent established concepts in various disciplines of Dentistry, from well-known and accepted personalities. Eminent doctors from India and abroad will deliver their discourses", adds

Dr Ram Mohan.
