4th NAPCON conference

NAPCON-2002, the 4th Annual conference on pulmonary disease, will take place under the auspices of National College of Chest Physicains (India) and Indian Chest Society

Venue: Jaipur
Date: 20 to 24 November

In order to promote and encourage original research in the country we have decided ten special awards, ie a cash award of Rs 11,000 (each), and will be awarded for the best work in the country presented in NAPCON-2002 and will be named as “NAPCON-2002 Best Research Award” in field of 1. Asthama, 2. Tuberculosis, 3. Broncho-pulmonary infections, 4. Kung tunors, 5. Respiratory emergencies and cricitical care, 6. Pulmonary function tests, 7. Interstital lung disease, 8. Environmental and occupational lung diseases, 9. Interventinal pulmonology.

Conference on Gastroenterology

Annual conference of the Indian Society of Gastroenterology in association with the Indian Association for the study of the Liver and the Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy of India

Date: 20-26 November 2002
Venue: Cochin

The scientific programme will include a pre-conference satellite symposium supported by Mayo Clinic, the CME programme, three days of conference, and a focussed Endoscopy Workshop.

A Panel of renowned National and International faculty will provide state-of-the-art presentations in gastroenterology, hepatology and GI endoscopy. In addition to putting together a pre-conference symposium, Mayo clinic faculty will be participating in the CME and the Conference.
