With offices in New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai,
Bangalore, Hyderabad, and service associates present
all around India, a large installed base of equipment
and systems in both government and private Hospitals,
Datex-Ohmeda can be proud of its contribution
to Indian Healthcare. With nearly 100 employees and
more than 100 channel partners spread evenly in all
the regions, Datex-Ohmeda-Indias focus has been
to offer optimum solutions with care to
the healthcare deliverers and ultimately to the patients
in this country. Apart from selling, servicing and management
of projects involving imported equipment from various
factories in Europe and US, it has OEM manufacturing

We exist because of our customers. Our company is devoted
to caring for life hence customer care has been
a major focus area for us. Through hiring of competent
people, product services, clinical trainings, setting
up customer care centres as the nodal point for addressing
all customer issues, addressing key issues like spare
parts availability with positive steps and necessary
investments, covering the installed base through a well-qualified
team of engineers and authorised customer support network
and through an all-pervasive CAN DO spirit
and solution-oriented attitude, Datex-Ohmeda India is
rapidly becoming a leading benchmark in the medical
industry of India today.
Any
significant achievement you would like to mention?
We have succeeded in building excellent brand equity
in the Indian Healthcare market. Today, Datex-Ohmedas
name is synonymous with leadership in anaesthesia, critical
care and medical gas pipeline - some of the critical
components in any hospital of India. This has been possible
through the untiring efforts towards building partnerships
with the healthcare deliverers, understanding their
needs, working hand-in-hand with them in designing and
implementing solutions for their needs and through positioning
ourselves as the technology and clinical solution leader.
Where
do you see Datex-Ohmeda in a few years time?
We want to continue and build on our position of being
a benchmark company of the industry in our chosen segments.
This will be done by continuing to focus on high-quality
customer care, clinical/ technology leadership and by
optimising the delivery chain to make our operation
even more cost-effective. This, we believe should continue
to give us the high-end double-digit growth along with
the installed base all around the country in secondary
and tertiary hospitals, both government and private.
