AP to have 40% share in production value: FICCI
Andhra Pradesh, with a favourable investment climate and good infrastructure in the form of biotech park and trained manpower, is expected to have a share of 40 per cent in the total production of drugs and pharmaceuticals in the country by 2010, according to a projection made by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).

New ways to treat prostate cancer
Dr Raj Dahiya, a PGI Graduate working in the USA has discovered new ways to treat prostate cancer. His research was published in the Journal of National Cancer Institutes on March five and then NIH press (Washington DC, US government) released the discovery to the news media of the USA, a PGI press release said here recently.

Integrate yoga with modern medicine: Joshi
Minister of human resource development and science and technology M M Joshi recently stressed the need for integrating ancient Indian science like yoga with modern system of management of diseases to ensure proper health care for people.
