Vijaya diagnostic launches ‘Privilege Card’
EHM Team

Vijaya Diagnostic Centre, which offers a wide range of diagnostic services through eight of its branches in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, has launched ‘Privilege Card’ meant for a family, consisting of husband and wife plus two or three children.

According to Dr S Surendra Reddy, managing director of Vijaya Diagnostic, on payment of a fee of Rs 250, the family is offered a discount of 15 per cent on all lab investigations and 10 per cent on all radiology tests like CT, MRI, ultrasound, X-ray, color doppler, mammorgaphy, etc. The card is valid for 36 months. Set up in 1981, the lab has so far served nearly 10 lakh patients.

“Our objective is to provide reliable and accurate diagnostic services to the patients at an affordable cost”, Reddy said at a meeting held here recently. He said on an average 800 patients visit the centres daily. It is the only diagnostic centre in the city to use fully automated modern analysers for doing all the tests. The lab is approved by the government and private sector organisations like SBI, SBH, Indian Airlines, Dr Reddy’s Lab, HDFC, ICICI, etc. More than 70 per cent of the patients visiting the centres were not referred by the doctors, Dr Reddy added.
