India’s first portable oxygen generators launched
EHM Team Bangalore

OxyHealth India Pvt. Ltd, the Indian arm of China-based Beijing Pu Jian Medical Oxygen Ltd, recently launched OxyHealth, a portable, carry-wherever-you-go oxygen generator. The system which delivers pure oxygen, is compact, easy-to-use and intended for low flow, high purity oxygen (greater than 99.5 per cent purity) which is ideal for supplementary oxygen therapy. The portable oxygen generator produces fresh humidified oxygen from a chemical process by an operator controlled activation process using patented solution (Oxylution) and water.

Commenting on the launch, Dr P Anand, Allergy-Immunology specialist and ENT surgeon and president of Indian Academy of Allergy said, “A portable oxygen system like OxyHealth generating low-flow medical oxygen is a very useful first aid and a regular use kit for patients suffering from bronchial asthma, emphysema, lung infections and obstructive disease, heart attacks, strokes, gas/chemical poisoning, traumatic shock and anaphylaxis.

The equipment consists of three parts, an oxygen generator, OxyLution, a patented solution required to generate oxygen and breathing assembly for inhalation. Oxygen is liberated with adjustable flow rate. Other accessories include a Multi Function Container (MFC), for carrying and protecting the equipment and a cup for controlling the temperature of generating oxygen.
