for forecasting disease outbreak being planned

aims at creating replicable forecasting models in the areas of public
health and agriculture on India and abroad
Talks
to install the Heuristic Engine(HE), a tool for forecasting epidemics,
to predict outbreak of agricultural pests and diseases was held
between Innareddy Computer Software Associates (India) Ltd., a city
based software development company with the government of Andhra
Pradesh here recently. The dialogue is likely to result in the establishment
of a Pest Disease Information Centre(PDIS) with the technical support
of Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT). According to
an ICSA release, the company has signed a MoU with the Indian Institute
of Chemical Technology (IICT) to enable the institute to make use
of the software for the prediction of the outbreak of vector-borne
diseases. The MoU is to make IICT play a key role in establishing
PDIS, which is an important parameter in generating an advanced
alarming system to reduce the pest infestation. It aims at creating
replicable forecasting models in the areas of public health and
agriculture on India and abroad. HE is based on N-Dimentional Numeric
Space and Numeric Sequence Strands and has the capability to attain
more than 90 per cent accuracy levels.
