Wellness management for corporates
Sunitha Ramakrishnan - Chennai

ApolloLife has recently introduced its Corporate Wellness Management Program, a comprehensive healthcare management program for enhancing the overall productivity of employees and lowering medical expenses. At the base of this concept lies the realisation that the health of an individual is inescapably linked with his organisational health and performance.

The corporate healthcare solutions are offered through Apollo’s Lifestyle Unit, headed by Prof. Adrian Kennedy and begin with the PATHCLAPSCAN. This in short, stands for the Total Health Computerised Lifestyle assessment and Prescription Scan, a non-invasive diagnostic tool created to assess and correct lifestyle risk. The health scan helps organisations assess the risk level of employees by making them fill a simple questionnaire online with regard to their medical history and lifestyle. The individual is assessed on 25 different health parameters categorised as cardiac risk, body fitness and physiological ageing, nutrition, stress, dependency. While every employee gets an individual health prescription, the corporate gets the overall health status. Other innovative programs - health and weight management, stress reduction methods, quit-dependency prescriptions - are also implemented to encourage employees to change their lifestyle and adopt good health habits.

Both the corporate client and its employees are immensely benefited from this wellness management program. While the former can ensure reduction in corporate health risks & costs and improve productivity of its employees, the latter can avail personalised attention as also be empowered to take charge of one’s own health. Apollolife is offering annual memberships to corporates for wellness management; the services have already been rolled out in Hyderabad and Delhi, other than Chennai. Some of the corporates who have already implemented this program include, TISCO and Dr Reddy’s Labs, to name a few.
